Visa-free entry
Visitors from this list of countries don't need any visa to enter Bali for visits of up to 30 days:
Brunei, Chile, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macao, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Visa on Arrival (VOA)
Visitors from this list of countries can get a VOA at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar, Bali) airport and other designated entry points without needing any advance arrangement:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Liechenstein, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, People's Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, The Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.
Visa on Arrival costs US$25 for thirty days or US$10 for seven days, most conveniently paid in US$ cash. Visa on Arrival cannot be renewed or extended so VOA holders must leave the country when the visa expires.
Citizens of countries wishing to visit Bali and not on the visa on arrival / visa free lists above will be required to apply for a tourist visa from overseas Indonesian Consulate before entering Indonesia.
Visas for visits to Indonesia for longer than 30 days continuously need special application at Indonesian Consulate before entering Indonesia.
All visitors to Bali need a passport valid for minimum 6 months, and must have onward or return tickets.
All visitors to Indonesia are required to be properly dressed and groomed in the opinion of the Indonesian Immigration Officer on duty.
